What's yours?

Mine is to be less lazy. Sometimes one can be too confident in their skills and takes things for granted. This can happen to anyone. Well, some advice is: It will only be as good as you try to make it be. I've also learned a bit of patience (or more patience) and trying not to be jumpy when trying to finish something in a single sitting. Also, the WIP thread provides a place for me to post something, even if I don't finish it. It's all good.

I was going to try for quitting cigarettes and promptly failed the next morning.... Maybe as a counter resolution i'll just try to cut down?

To get my truck out of the garage and in driveable, or at least running, condition. I don't think I'm going to have any problems considering I actually want to do it. The reason people fail at resolutions so much is because they have little motivation, or no clear goal. Choose something you're actually happy to do all the time, and you're on your way to INSTANT SUCCESS!
Posted 15 years ago2009-01-04 05:34:38 UTC Post #261072
Actually, none. Didn't even think of making any.
Posted 15 years ago2009-01-04 06:03:13 UTC Post #261073
I didn't either, 'till I saw this thread. :P

I want to finish 10 hammer project by the end of the year and be able to make a complete html page from scratch without using a dedicated program(so, only execising my abilities).
I want to save some money for an E8400 and a 500 GB hdd ....
I want to make myself a credit card.

I'll practie a lot more swim than I did last year, it's fun !

I surely want to have patience and be more mature(this is something easy to accomplish, but ...)

And many other things ...

Atleast 25/30 skydive jumps this year, which should be feasible considering i can cut the travel time to the airfield quite a bit.

Oh, and finish the bloody HL map...;)

l4d_glasgow.
Plain and simple.

Cstriker, i recommend you get a 750gb. The price has come waaaay down since the first terrabyte drives have started showing up.

I haven't actually thought about it, because I don't really care, I'll figure out what I want to do when I get there, and I don't feel like thinking up goals right now.

Wow, at first I wanted just a 250 GB and somebody from here (maybe you) recommended me a 500 gb . But... what's the price in euros ? How much does it cost a 500 Gb/750 gb ?

Because here in romania it's that cost+the cost of import+the cost for profit(and that's big)+TVA(aprox 20 % )

Aren't there any good Romanian price comparison site you could use?
I'm buying myself a 1TB HDD.

Can't really say I came up with any on the night, but I can come up with some now.
  • Finish ctf_volcano (looking more likely than ever)
  • Clean my room (been saying this for over a year now)
On top of that I have an ever-expanding list of things I want to buy, and movies/music I must try.

Stop playing games.
Ok, I achieved that about 2 years ago.
I'm in my last year at high school, so I pretty much have to work like a whore in Amsterdam.

careful with that terrabyte drive of yours, potatis. Most which are currently on the market are a lot slower than smaller drives.

I want to have all PSX games, and that would require a few hundreds of gigabytes, and one of my HDDs is destroying all my files and I can't use just one of them because then I wouldn't have room for all my games.

Mine is to not be a douche bag. Once I start drinking I become an Asshole, and thats not fair, is it?
Posted 15 years ago2009-01-09 12:51:31 UTC Post #261316
Well it could be fair if your drinking with an asshole, or someone who is also an asshole when he is drunk. Then it's even.

Seriously though, I rarely bother with making promises I know I won't keep. However, I guess getting a new job would be a good one.

Also I'm going to finish a mod. I've decided to set a deadline for myself for Complex Opinion. I've got 6 months. :P
