Simply put, 4 of the teleporters in my map are taking me to the wrong destination. 2 of them will take me to the same destination, and the other 2 take me to 2 different destinations.
A) I've triple-checked in Hammer that all trigger_teleports target the destination that i want them to.
B) I've checked the .map just in case there was any possible screw up, and the destinations were fine.
C) I've checked the bsp's entities with BSPEdit, and the teleporters all targeted the correct location.

But ingame, and only ingame, they take me to destinations that they clearly aren't targeting. The problem has also persisted after a second compile.

Ideas, anything, please.

strange... i dont know the cause but there might be some screw ups with the engine / fgd's. or maybe you atcually did something wrong with the entity setup.

if you cant find a cause maybe delete all the teleporters and remake all of them again properly?

Yeah, I guess what Skals said. But how on earth did that happen in the first place? :\

Do you have multisource entities?

Try copying those entities into a temporary map and see if it does it again. You may also consider uploading that map for us to have a look at.

No multisources, just straightforward teleporters with a trigger, target and info_teleport_destination. If it helps, the two teleporters that take me to the same place are supposed to go to the same place anyway, just not the destination that they go to now.

I can try deleting and remaking, but its an 8-hour compile if I dedicate both processors to the tools. I guess it's better than nothing, but I don't see what could change when it's such a simple setup, and the bsp says that everything should be working anyway.

8 hours? Holy cow. That is not normal.

Like i said, try copying the teleport entities into a temporary map.

8 hour compiles FTW! :-)

I suppose the other question worth asking is: where ARE the dodgy teleporters taking you? Is there an entity there that they are targetting?

Still haven't found a fix to this. Recreating the setup in a blank map was a success, but it's still a no-go in the real thing.

There are sections of the map that produce the "Too many entity's in visible packet list" error when developer is turned on ingame, which causes certain entities not to be rendered. Is it possible that a teleport destination is removed from the map in this case, perhaps causing the teleporters that are supposed to go to the removed destination to be rerouted to a random destination entity?
