. I started mapping for HL/CS many many years ago, but never got around to do anything worth even looking at. A couple of years later I tried to do mapping again and then a couple of years after that I did try again. And here it is 2009 and I'm on to try HL mapping yet again. A couple of days ago a friend came home and we played HL deathmatch on LAN. And thus the idea of making a custom map came to my mind again. And here I am, after looking for interesting resources, ideas, and the inner workings of some maps I wound up here. A lot of interesting mapping stuff crammed together in one place. Maybe a good place to share ideas and ask for advice on some things... it'll be interesting to see other HL geeks here
