Awaits the sound of a padlock slamming shut around the threads "post" button.

Awaits the sound of squishy Kraken skull under a hefty ban hammer.

He seems to have stood too close to Kasperg at some point over the last 2 days. Someone wash him.

This thread is now about EA's surprise decision to include no DRM what-so-ever with the Sims 3, arguably their biggest release of the year.

good to see you're grasping the true power of this thread huntey!

It all started because apparently spore (which I never played) implemented a terrible system and constantly nagged people to auth their game. The Sims, which is known to be modded a lot (at least when I played it) would suffer heavily from it, most likely lowering their sales.

I mean, in the end, every decision EA makes will be because of the money.

Everyone wins.

In the great, game development sea, EA Games is a carnivourous leech.

Sims 3 TWHL Project imminent.

So in other news, I made a shark swim in a circle in flash Shockwave. Pointless you say? Maybe. Unless I throw in the fact you have to swim in the sea and collect coral for the Fijians Chief's daughter in exchange for her marriage rope.
