A. Sounds like the best option for survival.

Just running sounds like a good way to get shot. Fighting barehanded is stupid, come on. And I don't think going with them is a good idea either.

Here's hoping the guy lives, whatever choice is made. :crowbar:

Lol, What's that supossed to mean?

Anyway I would chill in the APC until you could have the chance to grab a pistol, then hijack the APC, take out it's commmunications, and drive it to the closest rebel base. Pop out and say hi.

Not an option. You know nothing about the rebels.

And if they lock you in, how do you hi-jack it?

A has the highest chance of immediate survival, as they won't be expecting it, but after that, it would be very dangerous. B would offer the best long term advantages, so that's my choice.

You quickly grab the pistol in one of the cops leg holsters, flicking off the safety and squeezing the trigger. The shot rings in your ear as the bullet tears into the cops leg and the pistol released from the holster. He screams as he collapses onto the pavement, holding his leg as blood pumps out of the gaping wound.

The second cop drops you and furiously tugs at his pistol, attempting to release it from the holster. You quickly aim and fire 3 rounds into his chest, he staggers backwards and slumps down against a lamp post. You turn back to the wounded cop and fire a shot into his face, smashing through one of the eye lenses.

Then you freeze, quickly looking towards the barricade. The APC unloads several rounds from its mounted machine gun, shredding your torso and smashing into the masonry of the building behind you. You are thrown backwards onto the road and stare up into the sky. Your body jerks as you try to sit up, quickly loosing your strength. You prop yourself up on one arm and look to the APC just as it fires off one final round. The bullet smashes into your forehead and everything goes black.

:o that was too fast, I suggest

A)Join the extras of Left4Dead2
B)Resurrect yourself with magic pixie dust
C)Lie there dead
D)Press the reload button and go to prison instead
Posted 15 years ago2009-06-28 01:42:13 UTC Post #268997
I suggest A

"You wander aimlessly inside the hospital they tried to resurrect you in. You do this for several hours until you hear faint gunshots in the distance. As they get closer you are suddenly overpowered by a alluring smell. Impulsively, you run towards the smell along with a dozen others. You approach the door to the stairwell, somehow you have made it to the front of the crowd, the smell pulling you towards the open doorway. You jump through the door, suddenly the pop of a 38" rifle round stops you in your tracks. Looking down you realise your right arm is no longer attached to your body, instead it is rolling down the stairwell. Another pop sounds and then you feel nothing as the round pierces your skull"

i would actually think B is wiser as killing a Metrocop will alert Overwatch and you will have them crawling all over you in minutes...but its likely only those two will chase you if you do a runner
LOOK!!! I'm glad at least Penguin agrees with me :walter:

I'm 100% certain that "perrogative" isn't a real word.
If you meant "prerogative," your sentence still doesn't make any sense...

So i'm just gunna go ahead and say that every "Y" posted was certainly a "Yes."

Ok. I'll pick this up tomorrow. By popular demand we'll be entering the helmeted mind of Vass Paramanov of the Civil Protection.

Originally en route to the canals to surpress rebel activity, his superiors may have him return to City 17 now that 2 metrocops have just been killed in the streets. :P
Have you ever thought of writing a novel and publishing it, Urby?
I have lost count of how many times I've considered it, but whilst I'm working full time and have got ever so many other things on my plate at the moment its just another dream that I've left at the back of the shelf. :(

?UNITS DOWN IN SECTOR 3:14, REMAINING UNITS CONTAINED.?

You don?t flinch. In the past couple of weeks you have heard more and more reports of metrocops being wounded and killed in the city. However, seeing as you were reassigned to the canal district months ago then it seems that it?s no longer your problem.

You keep your rifle steady and continue to recon the rebel outpost across the water. The local units had never seen Gate 5 as a crucial location but now that the rebels had moved in it was all they could talk about. You never really shared their callous opinions of the citizens of City 17. As far as you are concerned, you?re just doing your job.

Just as you are about to call it a night, the gate suddenly creaks into action and starts to open. You scan the windows of the control tower, looking for the one who activated it. Just then, you spot them. A head pops into view, a young male rebel, checking that the gate is operating. This is the first rebel movement you seen all day and your trigger finger is getting itchy. You fire off a single round, smashing into the man?s temple. He splutters loudly and goes limp, his upper body dangling from the opening. Just then, a small craft speeds through the gate. You quickly whip your rifle around and aim down the scope. The operator is a young woman, in regular citizen attire. You fire a shot which ricochets off of the boats sturdy frame. You fire once more, but the shot falls short and the hover boat vanishes behind an embankment. You glance back to the outpost, noticing a lot more rebels rushing around the yard like ants, disturbed by the loud shots.

What now?

A) Pursue the female in the airboat
B) Eliminate the rest of the rebels in the yard
C) Call in reinforcments and storm the outpost
D) Retire for the evening and report to your superiors

Silly Huntey, if you jump back to page 1 you will see that V Paramanov is a high ranking metrocop. That means full access to APC's and manhacks.

He also gets a longer lunch break and is a big hit at the Citadel's VIP club.
