You will need Milkshape 3D and HL model viewer.
You can get Jed's (The better one) at http://www.slackiller.com/hlprograms.htm
Milkshape can have a free trial or be bought at the chubalum home page, just google Milkshape 3D.
I dunno HOW to do it, but that's what you need.

If you just want to change the origins, you can decompile the model and open the model's QC with notepad and change the origins with the "$Origin x y z" command. Recompile and it will be ready.

You will need:
-Jed's HLMV
-mdldec.exe and studio_model.exe for decompiling and recompiling from this page: http://www.wunderboy.org/apps/jhlmv.php

Any changes to the mesh, skeleton, or animations will require modelling software like Milkshape, though.

While this thread is open, is there any reason why when I decompile and recompile a shotgun model in MS3D, the origin and model both get messed up?
You all know the op4 HD shotgun, right?
Well, I decompile it, and without modifying it (I thought that was my problem at first) recompile it. This is what happens:

All I want to do is make the stock unfolded so it's being used by the player as a stock, but this is preventing it.

The MS3D decompiler has it's problems :P
This one's better as far as I know.

The built in "Kratisto's model decompiler" works pretty well. Its under tools or something.

Thanks, I'll try both until I get a good result.

Edit:
Works like a charm.
I might upload it somewhere sometime. Thanks guys.
