Ok, I tried this and am preety sure. I know how to do pistols with game player equip but I tried to place them down with an armory entity and it didnt work. Like in the place where you say what gun I said weapon_deagle and it just defaulted to an smg. Im just making sure, is it possible to make a pistol lying around?

Yes. I think; or maybe you have to use an info_player_equip.

I tried to make them lay around but it spawned the smg for me too. You cant place pistols but you can use info_player_equip as 7th said.
