I don't know what this chick did, I don't remember seeing her in any films, nor seeing her sing, or seeing her anywhere. Yet I did know who she was. Odd isn't it.

I can't say I'll miss her, seeing I have never come across any of her work or her personality.

The one movie that Brittany Murphy was in that put her in the spot light, was "8 Mile". The American rap artist "Eminem" was the star of the movie, with Brittany Murphy playing the role of his on screen girl friend. In the grand scheme of Hollywood, Brittany Murphy was never really a noticeable big star, yea....she had her 15 minutes of fame due to her acting with Eminem, but that was over real quick.

Who cares, really. People die. And I'd rather have someone from hollywood dead than someone who actually makes a difference.

I'm betting that the reason that caused her to go into cardiac arrest and ultimately to die, was a drug overdose. Now, all I'm waiting for, is for them to find Tiger Woods dead from a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head. Word is, he's "cracking-up", apparently he's not taking too well that fact that his wife moved out with the kids and went back to her native country, and plan on to divorce him for good. I agree completely, I'd rather some useless person from Hollywood die, than say....some person I talk to every once in a while.

And to these Hollywood people, I say, stop doing shit that causes you to die.

Dumbasses.

:/

so that puts me in my place does it?

reguardless.. I consume caffiene (unknown to you but lethal to my situaion) on a daily basis, and yet I remain.

maybe if the fact stood a distinguished to you, that.. we can no longer play with that very specific persona, or in the least, what once was no longer is.. you'd understand my concern for this.

imo, people don't die, they are canceled (much like a television series)

it's upsetting, and you should not be passing such judgement as "good, im happy that occured. didn't happen to me, what should i care." but mour of the latter.. "that's happening on my planet, this is whats occuring, people can die."

and tiger woods only got whats coming to him, far as i can assest.. being so concerned with the ridicule of others towards your inability to accept heritance.. seeking confort in the arms of that which seems "better than" or of the "elite" to what has been beatin into your psychosis..

in the blatency at all.. "for better or worse" obviously doesn't concern your previous engagement, mr. woods. And in my distinct opinion.. "will you take this woman" never eluded to "or a woman or equal whitened complexion."

again to throw condensendance at ATDestroy.. drugs certainly don't contribute to a healthy life style, but science considered, shouldn't specifically result in the ending of one as well.

I just heard that Brittany Murphy died at the age of 32 from natural causes.

Yeah right. And Michael Jackson wasn't a pedophile, and the Pope isn't Catholic.

That's... I begin to think that sometimes you're exaggerating things. Or fi not, that's stupid. Then stop consuming caffeine.

And the rest of your text, from which I could understand some ideas... do you read too much or are you high again ?

Nobody ever said, "it didn't happen to me, so I don't care." We said, "We don't care that someone who had no impact on our lives, or the lives of our friends and family, just died."

Maybe you were a fan, in which case I'm sorry that you are affected by her death. But I'm unaffected and so are many others, it seems. Ergo, I see no reason why I should care.

You can spit out utopian theories all day, but in the end the reality is that nobody should be expected to care about a death that neither affects them nor anyone they know. What affects you, personally, and those whom you know determines what you should care about.

TWHL is a network of users, with most of whom I feel I have established a friendly relationship. What happens when you lose contact with friends?

But I don't think, say, Gabe Newell should care that I lost some friends.

Never heard of her before her death.

Hollywood deaths never really affect me much, though if someone whose talents I genuinly respect, like Dylan Moran or Leslie Neilson died, it'd be a real shame.

I was thinking something similar to that last night when I saw it on the news. People don't just usually go into cardiac arrest and die.

It's sad when anyone dies, but people die all the time. I don't care more about her death than I care about the death of some completely unknown person living on the other side of Earth.

Someday I might make a text file entitled "In the event of my death" and put it in my documents with directions on how to post a journal here and what to say.
So when someone's cleaning out my computer I'll be able to say goodbye from beyond the grave

I always wanted to do that. Notify X, Y, Z, post here and there, delete all compromising stuff, send all family photos to relatives, send all warez to friends who might find those useful... it might be a long text file :P
