The tank looks great awesome, but the truck looks a little wide.

I'd love to go to uni in a tank. Noone will beat me to that parking spot :P

Hell, maybe I'm easily impressed but I think they're both epic.

Mighty fine work there, sir!

I guess my only "complaint" is the fact that I can see the individual polygons that went into making the fenders that cover the front set of tires; maybe it's just the angle of the render causing that, though, and it isn't that noticeable otherwise... either way, it's some great, sharp modeling. Make moar, pl0x.

What program do you use for this?

Perhaps because they're too clean? :P

They're nice awesome - I like the tank, even untextured.
What skills do you have with modeling, besides the obvious skill of being arty with the polygons?

Dude I'm so jealous! You're so lucky! How I'd want to be able to make sketches like that and be able to model them :(.
Good luck sir in your life with your skills. It's really awesome.

would you be intersted in taking a request?

I need something for my map, and you definatly got the skills to pull it off.
Posted 14 years ago2010-04-08 21:35:53 UTC Post #280363
it all depends on the request actually.. right now Im busy getting portfolio work together, and also we have our 3rd milestone due on monday, so depending on the item needed it may be quick, or not..so yeah, tell me your request, and poly limits, also let me know if quads are fine... if its for hl1 I'll have to triangulate it. but its not a solid answer yet, tell me what you need, if I have/find the time to do it, I'll let ya know..

and yeah jeffmod, I can texture, I can animate farely decently, but in the industry the theirs proffesional riggers who do that so you dont focus around animating to much :P

good to hear.

Its pretty basic in shape and structure, just can't do it with brushes in hammer.

Its for Source. Not sure about polly limit, but what ever you think.

Here is a pic of what I am going for.

I already have that track built, so let me know what you need from me to get the scale right.

I am looking for it to have 1 simple animation.l and that is a door that goes out, and then slides down the side when it opens. The interior can be basic, doesnt even need seats, maybe just some small slits as windows.

Other than that, feel free to use your own creativity.

Let me know if you need anything else form me, or if you would be able to do this.

Thanks.

I thought id have to create assets, but a whole exterior level!? Whats it for? Is it for HL2.. because I can do stuff like model the pipes/billboards etc, but I wont be able to do a whole level.. I got enough on my plate as it is, but things like the animated door and whatnot I could do... that being said, how exactly do you want the door to open?

Dont know how to answer that.

It seems like a pretty basic shape, so it wouldnt need a ton im sure.

As I said in an earlier post, i would need to send you the model or dimensions of the track I build as a reference for scale.
