Whenever I try to play A HL mod on the WON version I get an error saying that it couldn't load the dll. I check to make sure the dlls are all in place and they are. The only way I've heard to fix this is by copying the Half-Life's dlls into the mods but then you have to play though the mod as if you wer Freeman which wouldn't be so bad in some mods but for others like POV it ruins the purpose of the mod. The computer I'm currently using doesn't have steam on it and I don't plan on putting steam on it so I just wanted to play some mods with my WON Half-Life while I wait to get a new computer.

Which .dll can't it load?

neither of them "could not load library c:/hl/pov/c_dlls/client.dll" But does the same thing for hl.dll

What are you using as a base for your client?

What? I don't know.

I can play pov fine on my WON HL computer, so the problem must be with your computer or your HL installation

Maybe I need to make sure I have all the updates?

If it isn't up to date I'd update it.
Also, does the error say /c_dlls/client.dll or /cl_dlls/client.dll ?

Huh just needed to have half-life fully updated works perfect now I can't believe I didn't think of that until now.
