For the heck of it, I decided to start on a mod with my own textures made on MSPaint, and using everything I make, including sounds, models, ect.

Of course, it will be extrememly hard but I'm trying it alone so I can be more experienced when working on more serious projects such as my "Theoretical Disaster".

Today, I tried to make some textures that can light the top of the room. I have to admit, I am very happy with the results.

I think you shouldn't chase more than one rabbit, though this project will certainly encourage you to be more original.

its a great way to go, 'specially custom textures.. I personally find texturing from scratch very difficult/time-consuming, but I'm improving...

One thing I will say about working on a serious project is: Don't use MSPaint.

If the intention is to improve his skills in order to use them serious projects, the first thing to do would be to stop using paint. It is a terrible program and he should not be using it while trying to develop his skills in graphic design.

I don't understand why the hell you're working on this when "Theoretical Disaster" should still be being worked on. I don't want Potatis' code going to waste on a mod that's just going to die within a few weeks after it is spawned.

Stick to one goddam idea.

Don't worry, I promised Potatis that if I chose to quit the project, he'll take over. Actually, he asked me since I've been talking about the possibilities of me quiting. But, that will be a long time from now.
