What I'm trying to do.. is have the elevator move upward between the points, while being user controlled.

However, the elevator thinks it's running into me when it does so.

Will somebody fix this for me, please?

What kind of user controlled? As in, with a func_traincontrols?

Maybe I better download that and take a look.

Edit: How exactly is it user controlled if there's neither buttons nor func_traincontrols?

I'd use a func_train, trigger_changetargets and buttons. An elevator in a map I've been working on recently (not yet finished, will upload soon) runs between 3 levels on that setup and works perfectly.

I'm sure there are a couple of elevator example maps out there in the vault.

Alright, thanks~!

I'm going to wait for your example map before I mess around anymore on that map then.

I'm kind of sleepy still, anyway.

Read my post again when you're fully awake then. You'll notice I said there already are multi-level elevator example maps in the Vault. If, after looking at those you're still unhappy, I may make one for you. But I can't guarantee it'll be any different.

Okay, cool, thanks. I think I even found the exact tutorial you were talking about.
