Wow... My mouth was hanging open for like 10 minutes.
+2

Mind blown. Too much win.
Brb, need to let this sink in.

EDIT: The ending (along with the last part of the final battle) has got to be the most rewarding sequence I've ever experienced in a game. Ludicrously good.

On to the dev commentary!

Thought you guys might like these , it's pretty much a portal 2 SDK which a bunch of users at Facepunch made themselves.
Please note that is uses the Alien Swarm SDK because of new material and bsp jiggery-pokery

Incredibly handy community-made FGD.

I'd like to see what you guys can come up with.

Um why can't I save when playing though with dev commentary? Does Valve expect to play though all of Portal 2 in one sitting when I'm listening to the dev commentaries?

Agreed with X-Layer, the no-save thing really sucks. :/

You can start the dev commentary from any chapter, so you only have to play one chapter in one sitting. It is a bit strange that you can't save during commentary, though.

The only thing is sometimes I get off before I can finish a chapter, they had in the HL2 episodes and Portal so what made them not add it in Portal 2.

Just finished it.

Holy shit!

Too bad Dimbark had the fucking nerve to spoil part of the ending on Steam chat yesterday, so thanks a lot, asshat, after explicitly anwsering your question whether or not i wanted spoilers from you with a very clear "NO", you had to spoil it anyway! What the fuck were you fucking thinking!?

So thanks for that, i really appreciate it. NOT!

Looks like it.

I beat the SP and MP in a combined time of 10.4 hours. I wish they made it longer.

Wow, Muzz. He got banned for Portal 2 spoilers and he still hasn't learned his lesson? Feel free to extend his ban by another two weeks if you want.

sigh

You know kids have got the itch of refusing to do what they are told or to break rules.

I think 2 weeks is a little too short of a extension.

And yes, he did the same thing to me, but I immediately blocked it out before I could fully comprehend it so I'm safe.

I just finished Portal 2 this morning. Scott woke up unusually late (8:40 am or so), so I had a rare opportunity to play in the morning.

It's a great game. I was worried that the sequel would not live up to its high expectation, especially because the first Portal was such a surprise breakout hit.

But it's every bit as good as the first one, and in many respect, surpassing the original game.

So cleverly designed.

The ending was epic.

I only got stuck once by one of the puzzles. Perhaps it was getting too late at night, but I was exhausted and frustrated, and I Googled for the solution.

Shame on me.

Just bought it about 20 minutes ago for my reward for doing finals.

I'll probably get to playing it next week.
