My soundcard doesn't record. It once did then now it doesn't. I may need some acting for a job, which can earn you a decent amount of cash.

Voice Actor, Male, Deep voice, Scottish accent.
I'm willing to do pretty much any small roles and will have them done within a week of accepting a position.
I'm sure you all know what I sound like by now, but here's an example if you don't.

What kind of voice do you look for? If there's a chance you're interested in a voice like mine, I can offer( who wouldn't...). Although I live in eastern Europe, I don't have a russian accent if that's what you're after.

Quite simple really. They used the same voice actors for the console versions of the game, then got them to record bloopers. They're all on the PS2 disk, along with the animations.

Looking for voice actor to play the role as a cruel bootcamp instructor for a platformer. Not looking for much specific accents, as long as you sound like somebody who the player can come to fear.

Anyone interested?

Can someone suggest me a relatively cheap ( < £100) but great quality mic? Sure , nothing seriously professional but nothing that sound like i'm screaming through a cheesegrater.

<£100 covers a lot, including some pretty awesome semi-pro gear.

You can get my mic, the Samson CO1U for only £70 and I can tell you it's bloody fantastic. Unfortunately to get the best out of a studio mic like that you'll need to shell out £30 for various accessories like suspension mounts and pop shields. Full details of the accessories I use in this journal.

The most popular podcasting mic is currently the Blue Snowball. It's great quality right out the box. No need for any fancy suspension mounts or anything - this will sit quite happily on your desk being quietly awesome.

Backing away from the fairly expensive semi-pro range is the Blue Snowflake coming in at only £35. It's ridiculously portable and is light enough that you could probably mount it to something with nothing more than bluetack making it extremely practical. The tone isn't quite as open and rich as the semi-pros I mentioned, but for the price you won't find something better and again you don't need to spend further cash on a stand, suspension mount and pop shield.

Hope this helps.

So does the blue snowball still have a professional sound to it? Might go for that as the C01U seems like it'd take quite a bit from my pocket
