Hi everyone!
I just want to know one thing... as you can see on the name of thread - is it possible to set ambient_generic for one player, that triggers it (with button / multi_maneger and so on)on goldsrc?

For example - player "A" press button and he hear some sound, while others ("B" and "C" next to him) don`t.

If it is possible please say how, google couldn`t answer for me this time :D

I have also wondered this on Source too, so it would be interesting to know if Valve implemented any element of doing this.

i'm thinking its gotta be something code related.
anything that's a part of the level will be experienced by everybody because the level and all the entities exist on the server.
there needs to be code somewhere to specify which client to send it to and i'm not sure something like this exists within the vanilla code

I can't code either so idk if i'm even right.

It is possible to code, im 100% sure. If they can code various other things that only affect one player, the most common example AMX X admin chat, this can also be done.
