Thanks!
Next step is to install my two new 3TB drives in RAID. At this point, I have 10+ years of pictures and videos stored on a single 1TB drive. I'd like to have some form of redundancy.
That's tomorrow's task though.

Curious translation of Windows. "My computer" is labelled "Computer resources" and "Recycle bin" just "bin". Even more curious is that "Start" is still "Start".

Haha, yeah. In fact "Risorse del computer" is on the italian version of XP only. While on Vista, 7 and 8 is just "Computer". And the other ones are the same.

Oh and, "Start" can be translated in "Cominciare/Iniziare" or "Comincia/Inizia" in italian. And it's probably still "Start" because it's an image actually, not text.

Spanish translations of Windows say "Inicio", Russian versions say "пуск", Chinese versions say "<chinese gibberish>" so that's no excuse.

I have it on my desktop which I no longer often use.
I really should upgrade it, (as well as get back into the habit of using it) but then I'd have to scour the entire drive for any files I might miss, and get a new OS, and reformat it...
But yeah, I should probably upgrade. To something.

Alberto, JeffMod and myself. :P

Just not often. My laptop has Win7, and my desktop has XP, but I barely use it anymore. Mostly when I need an old file, and... pretty much nothing else. The bios battery is dead, even. Wonder if it's worth getting a new one.

I have a OLD P4 laptop with XP and a webcam, that I use for a ad-hoc security system, but no use for it otherwise... :)

It has sentimental value.

I am still holding on the good old Windows XP. If Valve (or someone else) releases a game that doesn't work on Win XP, I am going to reinstall my PC to Ubuntu. I tested Ubuntu, It just works great. That my super secret plan :D

My current pc is only 1 core 1.6 (1.8 - overclocked :D) AMD with 1gb ram. It is slow, but it runs BMS on normals settings (sounds impossible, but it is true). Each map takes about 2 mins to load, but are nonlagging :D. AND I have found out that Portal 1 is laggier that Portal 2, which runs super smoothly.
