This is one for the designers, or aspiring designers or anyone with too much time on their hands. Did this once before on TWHL and some people really got into it. Sadly, the images have long since been swallowed by their hosts.

Results can be genuinely awesome looking or downright hilarious.

1 - Go to Wikipedia's random article page
The first article you get is the name of your band (unless it really doesn't work)

2 - Go to the Random Quotations page
The last two to four words of the last quote is the album title. These seem to randomise only when using the button at the bottom. Refreshing does nothing...

3 - Go to Flickr's 7 Days of Photos page
Third picture, no matter what it is, is your album cover

Put it all together to make your album.

Either crop it to CD cover size (12 x 12 cm / 340 x 340 pixels), or just use the raw image itself... the only rule is you're only allowed to add the album title and artist title. Style and position the text any way you like.

Aaand... here's my first:

I cheated by randomizing the wiki page several times...( I got really nonsensical articles, like "North American Flags" )

"North American Flags" would be a fine band name, really.

I got an Album for my band name and the same quote as Urby. I remember years back, I played this, and I got

as my band and album, respectively. They worked pretty well together, I thought.

Heh, I can imagine that sticker there as well. It would just look natural.Lack of style aside, "Kallax" actually sort of sounds like something I'd listen to.

As a random fact(idk how you scored that article Archie), during WWII in Ploiesti, USAAF organized an air raid on nine oil refineries near Ploiesti on 1 August 1943. The purpose was to cut petrol supplies to the Axis powers.

They've lost 53 bombardiers. I feel chills in my spine just thinking about the event and what a fucking strong fortress the city was.

The irony here is that it's 03:43 and I was actually trying to understand these obscure mathematical conjectures about knot theory that have finally been solved in 1991.

Potatis, that album almost serves as a basis for a meme, that's how the text sounds to me at least.
