hello there..
can i use func_train entity for make an elev. move? how to make that..can smone give some tutorial coz im newbie

i want to make the elev. follow the track (on the wall) to the top of the wall...help me plz

But you can also make the elevator a func_plat, as that's a basic form of elevator:

Put a path corner on the bottm and another on the top. Check the properties of both path_corners and make them say this:
For the bottom one- name = 1
next stop target = 2
for the top one- name = 2
next stop target = 1
For the train itself set the properties- first stop target = 1
name = anything
Now make a button target near the train and set it to trigger the name of your elevator

P.S. you dont always need to name path_corners 1 and 2 and so on, thats just what i use.
