Highlights from the fourth Hour out of five

Things are starting to get a little heated in the TeamSpeak channel at this point. It's getting late for the Brits, who are only getting more drunk with each passing hour, Dimbark is STILL talking and a wild Ant appears.

Considering editing the last hour today... I'll let you know how I get on with that...

This is the one that will put into better context, why me winning Archie's prize was so hilarious (Page 2, about a third of the way down)...though you don't get to see his frustration of getting his ass kicked by me.

Looking forward to next time Archie. :badass:

Final part. Get it in ya face

That's your lot. That's all the footage condensed down into five easily digestible chunks.

Now leave me be until the next tournament starts. :pwned:

Did that goddamn slimy spy Ant tell you that? He's such a fucking spy.
Sounds like something a GODDAMN fucking spy would say...

I say we leave it as CS:GO. The netcode is decent and most people own it. Much less faffing around.

With regards to the timing, there's always going to be some region of the world that's going to get screwed over by the timing. So pick something and go with it.

CSGO is fine with me. So I agree with the fucking dirty spy, claiming to be Ant.

Do you not like CSGO? Or do you just not own it. It's pretty cheap.

I almost uninstalled it some time ago. That silly matchmaking system always put me in servers where all the players were crazy Brazilians that headshot me within five seconds of spawning. Maybe he dislikes it for the same reason.

I literally only play CSGO when there's a TWHL event on... Money well spent...

In saying that, I DO intend to start mapping for it once The Core is done in 2053

worse than hackers are the teamkillers

csgo is ridiculous. I'm being honest when I say that comp is a huge waste of time. Theres loads of undetectable hackers running around and I fail to see how nobody realizes this. I'm not talking about the obvious aimbot hackers, but rather, the subtle hackers who pretend their not hacking but is in fact actually using cheats as well. It's crazy.

i don't like csgo at all. why not have a retro cs 1.6 tourney again? i would play that

The problem with CS 1.6 is that the netcode is not particularly great. Even for those with better internet connections than most, dealing with lag across multiple countries is not something Goldsource handles particularly well.

Furthermore, what's with all the hate for CS:GO?

Whenever I see some one commenting on how there is a lot of subtle hackers and cheaters that "nobody notices" I come to a conclusion that they do not know how to play the game well.

Its a known thing to have cheaters in a game, thats why there are localized communities for various games where there are active server admins that watch over the game and insure overall quality.

I stopped playing casual and competitive defuse missions a long time ago, even in beta. Hostage missions are much more relaxed and enjoyable.

CS:GO is a good game, but like any other, there are always those players who are pansies.

Also, cheating and matchmaking aren't a problem for a community hosted event such as this. Though I can understand not wanting to buy a game just to play with the TWHL community twice a year.

Someone's talkin' shit on CSGO! To the computer!

There was recently a huge update on CSGO that has forever gone down in history as The VAC Banwave. Things have been going a lot better in CSGO after that. Pretty much everyone was bumped up two ranks, and matchmaking has become a lot more interesting as a result.

It's just a shame that it took so long for this to happen, but hey, here we are.

CS:GO please, also, I'm not inviting potato; he's turned so OP and you'd legit think he's hacking, but his skills are over 9K like his rank and the fact he's overwatch says a lot IMHO. Also, I've got a bunch of skins, so I'll look slightly better this time.

Last but not least, thanks for all the footage Urby, means more than you can imagine and I've managed to make myself look like a retard for laughing in a library while watching the whole game.

I'm on the fence about recording the next one. This one alone was five hours of footage that maxed out my HDD, and took 7 months to edit...

With Fallout 4 out on the 10th, it doesn't bode well for anything being done.

I really hope it's gonna happen, I've improved a lot (if I say so myself and I'm sure everyone has too... Especially Dimbark and my friend potato) but yeah... Did we all agree on this?
How does November 7th sound like ?

Please choose a different time of day this time! Aussies want to play too and getting up at 6AM is impossible
Starting between 0000-1200 UTC is best for us!
-PB
Considering the ambiguity, I'd make very sure what time you mean by saying 11:59 AM or 23:59
I'm probably busy that day anyway.

I've been told that picking a favourable time for Aussies is unfair to everyone else, so best choose a time that's more appropriate for Europeans, because most TWHLers live closer to those time regions.

With it being a Saturday night, I can confirm that the other SnC Guys have no issue starting at a time better suited to the Aussies. We've basically been doing that anyway since Ant clamped on to us...

I can't really start gaming until 10pm GMT anyway, since my daughter doesn't settle until 8pm and I spend the following two hours tidying up after her...

Was our previous game on competitive mode or what? Because I kinda wanted to suggest that we make this game's settings competitive like, or we have a random selection option or something to make it fair for teams. :x
