Hey I was wondering whether there is a console command to track the precise status of any entities within a map.

In my case I'd like to see when a certain entity activates or not. Naturally I'm in dev mode but that displays only errors so not that helpful.

Know of anything or perhaps even a third party tool keeping you informed about anything happening within a map?

Are you just using -developer? There is also developer 2 and 3 which give more info about what's happening. I don't know of any way to 'track' the status of an entity though, other than specifically adding a temporary visible entity that is triggered.

You can use Xash3D with "-dev 5" key in shortcut, it gives very detailed information about everything that engine is doing. "-log" key is also enables logging (all information goes to "engine.log" in your main game folder, this file will be rewritten after every new game launch).
