I want to make a glass that you can shoot through and see through but can't walk through. I know how to make the glass see through but how do you make it so that you can shoot through it? I used func_illusionary and it made me shoot through it but it also made me walk through it and i don't want that. i need help asap. sorry if this is in the wrong section, i barely made my account and i thought i could use help since there is no help on the internet.

func_illusionary, plus a brush textured with the "clip" texture in the same space should do what you want. The func_illusionary will give you the glass, and the clip brush will stop players going through.
I don't think there'll be any bullet holes in the glass, nor do I think that's possible, so I hope that's okay for what you're doing.

(I'm assuming this is for the goldsource engine.)

I am using valve hammer and these option you provided are not available. The clip texture is not there. Thank you for replying but i need another solution to the program that i am using. Valve hammer.

If you're missing the CLIP texture, you're missing zhlt.wad - an absolute necessity for Goldsource (HL1, CS, OPP4, DoD, etc) mapping.

Download and install Vluzacn's compile tools, making sure to add zhlt.wad to Hammer's wad list. This does not need to be distributed with your map - its effects all happen during the compile.

Which version of Hammer are you using?

And have you added it to Hammer's WAD list? Because CLIP is definitely in there.

Yes i am surr i have it. If this is the case, i will solve the issue and see if it appears or not , i will try putting it in again or intalling zhlt again.

Or just download Wally and make a texture called clip.

You're absolutely sure you placed zhlt.wad here?Because if it's there then there is no reason why it shouldn't appear unless you haven't restarted Hammer after adding it.
