Hi!!! i always get leaks and ive got it all set up correctly (looked up the right stuff on the net [tutorials]) and when i type pointfile it just says 0 points read.

0 points read means the pointfile does not contain information. So when the pointfile was created, there was no leak. Make sure that the has been updated. You can also load the pointfile in the VHE, try this.

Did you do vertex manipulation or carving? Sometimes that leads to leaks as vertexes are set to the grid during the compile wich can sometimes lead to very thin leaks.
As for -particles, you'll have to enter a number after that option to define the amount of particles. -particles 10000 or such should be fine.
Or maybe you should post the map in the Problems section of the Vault?

If you have enough RAM, and it's a big map, run it with -particles 80000 or something big...it won't load em all on huge maps. I've ran it with -10000 before and it didn't load all of my points.
