I have maps in my folder I have made my own mod and have maps for it but I don't see them in the list! how can i fix this??

I assume that you're talking about the MP list.
Open your liblist.gam file in the mod directory and look for 'mp entity' or something like that. There you'll see what entity must be in a map to make it appear in the MP map list.
You can still open every map you with the console. Just open it and type 'map mapname'.

I got it to show up but now when i try to play it, it says not found on server... o ya i made a shortcut to my mod it has -console -game <my mod> and i open it and it just loads HL how can i fix all my problems?

Make sure that you use the directory's name in the '-game' command.
If your mod is called for example 'My first Mod' in the Liblist.gam, but the directory's name is 'mfm', the use '-game mfm'.

my directory is "C:SierraHalf-LifeRotten Stinkers", my Liblist.gam name is "Rotten Stinkers" and my shortcut is "C:SierraHalf-Lifehl.exe -console -game Rotten Stinkers" so what is wrong?

Try '-game "Rotten Stinkers". There's a space in the name, that might confuse HL.
I suggest you to to name the folder RS or RSM (rotten stikers mod), to make it easier.
What kind of mod is that anyway?

The space is what is confusing it. NEVER EVER EVER!!! Use spaces. HL doesn't like it. :)

Never ever ever. Nothing. No spaces in file names EVER EVER EVER.

It can be done when you use "" around the file name, but it's just unhandy and confusing to work with. Use underscores instead.
