im writing a modeling tutorial for the shareware program called milkshape. version 1.7.0. at first i idnt knwo what to model, shotgun,hammer(one i made) ore something else, then i thaught. why not the good ol hl lambda car everyone knows. its easy to model and looks ok.

so i finaly modeled it today(il sned the tut to andy when done)
and on the wheels need to be done. so here is a screenshot of the car after 20 minutes of modeling, i spent most time getting the texture set up and aligning the texture.
hope you like it. ore should i make something else for the tutorial?? :D

The car looks great for a car that I expect to see in Half-Life. Personally I think I will read your tutorial but won't try to model myself :P. Either way, good luck on finishing it (it's your holiday well spent ;))

I made an 8000 frame (its animated) water render earlier! It took AGES!!! Even on my machine! Looked good though. This was in Softimage|XSI which pwnz Cinema4D and 3DSMAX!

but they used 3dsm max by the day after tommorow and that looks very good

use the car and in the tuturial and could you also explain how to make it into an actual world model in hl :D

First vertex to last texture? Maybe the .qc editing and compiling could be added too? ;)
