Get Atom! Get SOMEONE that can edit this website and add new vaults! Its being overpopulated with maps now!!! WE NEED TO FIX THIS!!! WE NEED A MISC. VAULT, A CS VAULT, AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD STOP THIS HORRIFING MAP SPAMMING TO STOP!!!

Been there done that. Just put up with it for now. No one's saying you have to download them.

yeah but they get annoying, how many people do u think actually scroll through a load of pages full of 1/2 * stuff just to get to the good maps. I for one dont think this is a very good thing to happen. Get an addmin in here and have him look round and delete things he/she isnt happy with.

Maybe have a sort function in teh vault? Like sort by highest rating, etc.

It does need a CS vault, maybe even a beginners, average and good mappers vaults? If they think there map is 1337 and they post it in good mappers when it is shyzer, Andy can move them back to where they belong can't he? It would also teach them not to put it in the wrong vault again, unless they are ignorant fools like Floater, who seems to think all his maps are 1337, whether they are rated 1 star or not

Maybe a 1-2 star vault and a 3 star vault (gets its own vault because this is pretty much the average rating [well.. not lately ]) and a 4-5 star vault? I reckon its a good idea, it will make it easier for people to get good maps recently made.

While half of the members of this ongoing debate feel that anyone should be able to post as much as they want, I wonder what the point is when there's so much rubbish there than no-one really ever bothers looking...

why not just a few days before new members can post maps? and a limit on how many maps u can post per day?

It has been debated before, and what I remember is that the Map Vault is there for members to show off their maps. It's not a gatherplace for good maps, or for whatever you want from it. It's a place to show off your stuff. That's the initial intention of it, and that's fine for me. Now and then I go around, check some maps, give some comments. And when I find a great map, well, great...

And indeed, anyone can become a member and dump their stuff and leave, maybe that's a point to adress, and maybe the Vault system is a bit hard to navigate trough, but still...

I like Trapt's idea of "Rating" Vaults. It would make life a lot easier
