i got this steam intaller from steampowered, and i tried to install it but every time i do it says :could not initalize. file size expexted=761177, size returned=79860, so i thought that my comp didn't have enough space, so i did a whole restore (format and other thing) and it happenes again!! please help me!!!

The file is corrupted.
Something must have disturbed the download.
Download it again.

i downloaded it about 20 times, same thing!!!!

can u gimme a link to a site that dosn't have a corrupted steam thingy? pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaassssssse :):):)

I don't have steam.
Steampowered has several different links, have you tried them all?

There is something funny with the steam installer.. A friend of mine had exactly the same problem.. I blame XP. I had the Steam install with the CS cache file so we installed that and it worked fine.
