i just downloaded some models from my friend, but i dont know how to put them into my map? i have beer cans and a car. what entitie do i use and what do i put in the properties?

For what mod do you map?
For HL, you can use a monster_furniture, monster_generic or a cycler.
For CS, you should go for the cycler, if I'm correct...

Cycler_sprite for cs, (with 'sprite name' as the model)
monster_furniture or monster_generic for hl, as cpt p said.

i just tried to use the cycler sprite but it didnt work for cs.. i tried having the .mdl in the hammer folder, the cstrike folder, and the valve folder but it says .mdl not found.

It should be in cstrikemodels.
