how do you set the trigger_push entitie to push upp ?

See those little drop-down boxes under the Pitch Yaw Roll settings in the trigger_pushs' properties box? Set the yaw one to up.

still when i get to the push field i get sucked down and pushed forward instead of up

Set the "Pitch Yaw Roll" value to "-90 0 0". Ignore the compasses.

the compasses are nothing but trouble to me. I try to avoid them at all costs, but still use them when dealing with enemies.

the compasses are reset if you go into the flags tab. if you change them do it seperately from all other changes (i.e change all settings for the entity and close the properties window, then open it again and change the compass, then close.)

Still using 3.5 ministeve? , I don't have that problem with 3.4(ed: Andy)
