How do I set up lights so that they include a glow sprite with them that gets dimmer the further away you are from it?

You could have a setup of env_renders that make it dimmer when you get farther away, too, but it seems like an awful lot of work for an effect few people will notice.

Just set it's rendermode to glow and the renderfx to constant glow.
Changing the renderfx is optional, without it the sprite will grow when you get further away.

Umm.. will setting it to constant glow make it like most of the lights in tfc and half life?

Just try it out.
I didn't pay much attention to glowing lights in hl.
