Since my system recently changed and I can no longer use 'noclip' when I want to browse a map via Multiplayer/Lan/Create game, I'm curious how others browse maps.

1. What version of HL do you have? [I have 1.1.0.4]

2. How do you load a map in HL, CS or TFC and browse it? Specifically, do you use Multiplayer/Lan Game/Create Game or another method?

3. Do you use 'noclip' or 'fly' to look around the map?

1.1.1.0 for WON, latest for steam.

Console -> map -> mapname

3. Do you use 'noclip' or 'fly' to look around the map?
if its a big map, or if I need to take screenies, yes.

1. 1.1.1.0

2. Only rarely. I rigged Windows Key + H to launch HL straight to the console, so mainly just 'map x'

3. Yes.

1. 1.1.1.0

2. I start the game, goto console and from there access maps. Sometimes I place shortcuts to maps on my desktop, wich is handy for situations that require a lot of testing (changing game-code, for example).

3. Yes.
