You know in the intro how they had those yellow spider robot things? How do I make those and make em move n' stuff? Is it a monster_ entity?

My guess is, thats its either very complicated and involves lots of entities, or is impossible.

Tss, tss, very easy. Just make a monster_generic and select the hydra model (cant remember name, see HLMV for guidance, possibly walker.mdl) and do your thing with it.

The precise name for the yellow robot is loader.mdl. So it will be:
models/loader.mdl

remember that it will just sit there and spawn human gibs when blown up - and the hit boxes will be non existent - its just what it is - a generic monster that is just there to display the model doing an animation

the purpose of the loader modle was when your on the train at the beggining and the point was that you couldnt touch it otherwise you would see that you can walk through its legs etc so its mainly used wen u can see it but cant touch it if u no what i mean :
