Ok in my map, there is a generator. this gen consists of 4 beams. 2 start according to how the Multi Manager timed them, but the other 2 have a 6 second delay. The beams don't appear. I had sparkend/start and the sparks appiered on time, but the beams didn't. And I also found out the egon dosn't have a beam either once the first 2 start. I think I will put the map in the problems vault.

Make sure your beam color isnt black; that'll make them invisible.

Or the life setting and one of the other settings could be wrong, something easily overlooked.

Mhh, the egon has no beam you say? Strange... what version of Half-Life do you have? Sounds more like a bug than a mapping problem...

I tested my map in WON HL 1.1.1.0 (The most updated version) And the beams appear, but after a few second delay.

Check their properties, I'd say. Double check if the multi_manager is set right. Try triggering other entities instead of those two beams to see whether it's a env_beam or a multi_manager problem.

Question: how many entities did you trigger with that multi_manager? Since there's a maximum of 16...

hmm the multi manager has 17 in total, and 2 of them are another set of multi managers, which have 2 triggers in them. I have put the .map file in the problems vault btw.

k I put the 2 beams into one of the smaller MMs, the problem still is there. The mm now has 15 targets btw.

Run HL -dev and -console and see if you get any errors being flooded (like 'more than xxx temporary entities').
