Where can i find a .wad that has nothing but HL textures that scroll? There are very few scrool textures i could use that already come in the HL.wads.

You'd better learn how to make your own textures, or how to make existing textures scroll... It's pretty hard to find textures that suit your need well, or at least that's what I have...

Hint: a scrolling texture has to have 'scroll' in it's name somewhere, otherwise it won't scroll. But you probably knew that already...

Its rather easy to make existing textures scroll methinks....just rename them to er, scrolltexturename .

Yes, the word 'scroll' has to be somewhere in the name of the texture. Hey, why don't you try it?

Read the custom texture tutorial on this site. I think its by atom. It explains a lot about custom texturing.

the aaatrigger seems to scroll somtimes weird?

It's a game thing, AAATrigger shouldn't be on visible world brushes though so just ignore it, or take AAATrig off visible faces.

just remember this! wadname " scroll******* ".wad ... then also when making a scroll texture in wally or psp, design it to sides ways. it scrolls from left to right when creating it. and thats all i can do for now.. gotta go take a mean crap! lates

Scroll textures flow in the direction of the Yellow arm of the little texture
"L" that appears when you select a face, to be more accurate.
