I have no clue why this is happening, but the sky is stuck on one of the nebula skies and its extremely annoying. I tried to create a new sky that I made and I wanted to test it, but it wont change the sky. I even tried to change it to the skies that came with half-life. The sky I made is in the right folder, all the right names and formats, even the sizes are right. BUT THE SKY WONT CHANGE!!!!

Help me please.

Weird, try deleting your sky brush(s), remove the name, then remake the sky brushes and enter the name again. Worth a try =/

You only need the .tga files... .bmp's aren't used for skies, despite popular belief.

The skyname is always all teh text before the lf, rt, etc. so if your skyname is custom_ then you need to set the skyname in map properties to custom_.

Sometimes placing a "cl_" in front will force it.... like making "nightsky" into "cl_nightsky".

I've had issues with NS's metal sky, since its called metal_lf, metal_rt, the skyname actually has to be metal_

If that doesn't work, (assumuing there's a _ in the filename) then try Rad Brad's method and see if it works.
