This is what I think the level is like:
Single story war-torn building.
plenty of grunts.
one maybe two apache helicopters.
NO aliens
lots of corners to hide in etc.

This could be from HL, OP, BS or any one of hundreds of mods I've downloaded.

Someone suggested Surface Tension, but I just played trough that and it's not.

Anybody got any ideas?

sounds almost impossible to tell u the name

hav u checked all maps e.g.

maps *

cool.bsp
happy.bsp
wtf.bsp
mappingods.bsp

etc try each 1 and maybe it will work

if its a hl map then type maps * in console then go through every map that looks like

c1d3
d123
etc ull find it hopefully

Hmm... can you remember the texture set?

I've looked through most HL maps that are within the game, I'll load OP later. Unfortunately I have since reformatted my HD, so I can't look through a folder easily.

to textures they are most brownish concrete!

The level starts within the building and you have to shot down 1 or 2 apaches, you can then get out into the open and maybe reach some vehicles.

Doesn't sound like BS or Op4.

Sounds a bit like an area of the original HL with the huge dragonhead monster things. Can't remember the name 'fraid though.

Does the level change start in an elevator, and then you move out into a grunt infested area (barbed wire) with an osprey and an apache?
You need to cross open ground to get down a shaft, and the grunts repel down an elevator shaft?
It is a really short map, changing when you move into a vent in the shaft after killing the repelling grunts.?

No I don't think it starts from an elevator. I also think that it's two Apaches.
