Is there a way to make the glass on a normal sliding door transperant

Yes. You make a door frame, and make it a door. You make the glass in the door frame, and make it a seperate door, with the same name as the door frame. Set the glass part's Render Mode to Texture and the FX amount to about 100-150.

yeah.. You make the door frame (everything EXCEPT THE GLASS) and then you make the glass sheet.. You make them two door entities, and you set the render mod on the glass, to texture, and the render amount to something like 100. Tie all the glass to one door entitie, and tie all peices of the frame together into ANOTHER door entitie. ALSO, be sure to have em triggered at the same time. If the glass and the door are gonna be the same size (same width) then you dont worry, because it will trigger at the same time when you touch what appears to be one door.. Tell me if I make sense..

take a look at this example map. it has sliding doors with pieces of transparent glass in them: http://cariad.co.za/twhl/mapvault_map.php?id=2076

or if your just asking how to make sliding glass doors transparent, just set the render properties of the door how they described above (render mode: texture, fx ammount: plus or minus 100).

or u can create a door that has texture glass and give it render mode texture, and an fx amount of 30 if u want to barely see it, 80 is good, and 150+ if you want to barely see through it, 255 is non-seethrough
