A LOT of times when i get out of hammer 3.4 and back in it all of its options and stuff arent filled in and i have to do it over again and it's textures have to be put back in. This happens not only once but ALL the time. What is wrong ?

Are you logged on with administrative privileges?

Try reinstalling Hammer, p'raps. Anthony's had this problem, I believe, I'll ask him to check this thread.

This has happened to me, yet I've no idea why. Here's what I'd do:

1.) Load your first lot of options (so that might be the Game Configurations page)
2.) Hit APPLY, then OK.
3.) Shut down Hammer
4.) Reopen it and input the rest of your settings/
5.) Hit APPLY, then OK.
6.) Shut down Hammer and reopen.

Hopefully this should retain the settings.

I haven't had this problem, but I would bet $ to doughnuts that you shouldn't have a workspace open when you do the above. Like setting up Photoshop or Word or several other programs.
