Ok, I started hammer and I did something that made my hammer only let me see one view at a time and I have no idea on how to fix it.

one view at a time? hmm, lemme think...

you couldve pressed shift+z, which would give you only the camera view. just press shift+z again.

http://img65.exs.cx/img65/5009/untitled543.jpg - it should look more like this.

tbh, i think you're jsut confused. Hammer shows these screens:

top left: camera view (click on teh word 'camera' in teh top left of this screen, and change it to 3d Textured to see your map properly)

top right: top down view

bottom left: front view (i think?!!?)

bottom right: side view (possibly front, but does it matter?!?!)

you don't get any flash 3-d screens to work in, you have to ake teh best of what you have.

I thin kthat ministeve is right.
you say <front y/z>
so put your cursor on de workingspace and pres [shift][z]
if nothing helps just uninstal and install again maybe than everything is back to normal?

You have only one screen when you start up a map, right? Ctrl + A would then do nothing, as all that it does is putting the four viewpoints back to their normal size.

Go to the menu item Tools -> Options..., the 'General' tab, then see if the 'Use independent windows configurations' checkbox is on. It probably is. Tick it off (the checkbox below it will then grey out) and start a new map. You should now have 4 views. Each of these views can be set as a specific 3D or 2D view, although one 3D and a top, front and side view are the most common setting.
