Only turn it on when you approach the room? I imagine you can trigger/retrigger them on and off, there's probably a "Start Off" flag too.

i put a trigger_multiple in to toggle the sparks on and off, buts its kinda of sketchy. its possible to mess it up so its turning on when you leave the room and turning off when u enter again. (btw iv got delay-b4-reset on 0.) any more ideas?

Use two trigger_onces or two trigger_multiples targetting trigger_relays, both relays targetting the sparks, one set to "on" and the other to "off"?

Take a look at my example map for Stay-open door. I know that sounds weird but you can use the trigger multiples to turn the sparks on and off instead of opening and closing the door...once it is set up properly, the player can't mess it up.

this is with one trigger_multiple targeting the sparks. i guess its like the delay inbetween when it turns on and off u can jump through it and back b4 it resets so your on the wrong side of the trigger when the sparks are on/off. a player could pretty randomly do this. (delay b4 reset is on zero btw)

cool il look at it next time i get a chance
