Looks just about right...
Make sure you didnt tick the "Dont run HL" flag and that you set the path to Half-lifes exe correct.

Does it matter weather you have the .wads in a diffrent file?

the wads should be in /half-life/valve, or counter-strike/cstrike, or whatever your working on - otherwise you'll get a "Couldnt find wad..." error.

That error will occur in Half-Life, not Hammer.

I've been waiting for half an hour and yet it hasn't jumped into hardwar yet. I copied the .wad files from the other file to the right one, opened them in the options dialog, removed the .wad files that were in the wrong directory (wait, I removed the wrong .wad files first!), closed hammer, re-opened hammer, run my map with expert compile, and still it don't work.
