i was wonderin how you convert a song into a certain wav. file to play on a level. and is there a certain program you need i heard the wav. file was mono 8 or somethin but how would i transfer it to a certain wav. please help for my level it needs stupid mexican music. lol :D :D :D oh no ofense mexican people i acualy find there music kinda good :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I recommend using GoldWave audio editor (google).
Just open the desired file and "Save as" a 11025khz Mono wav file.

that program rocks but the level freezezs when its half way loaded so i cant tell right now if it works : : so im kinda disapointed :lol: :lol: :lol: but that would be cool if i could tell that it wors :roll: :confused: wha wha wha cry cry i want it to work but otherwise that program is cool thanx :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yeah, try manually running the map.

Make sure your sounds are in sound as well.

Shut Up. You must stop being a twat right now.

Try making a small room, and put the ambient_generic, and a func_button in tehre, and manually trigger the sounds yourself, just to check it works.

Whenever you have a tricky set up that might not work but you want to check, always use a plain room to test until something works, nothign worse than compiling for an hour only to find out it didn't work.

I believe that 11KHz is preferred for dialogue, as 22KHz won't lip-'sync'.
