the new Hammer.. as in 4?

You'll need a mdl file surely?

Try checking the VERC for ways to export an mb to mdl, or the Maya site

There's a studiomdl.exe included with the new SDK - Can you export as dxf from Maya? Studiomdl should be able to handle dxf files to output them as models.

Yea, in hammer 4.

Well its not a human model, its just an object ive made inside maya. And im only able to save/export it to either an .mb (maya binary) or an .ma (maya ascii) file.

But wasnt there supposed to be a feature in the new hammer that made importing models and objects easy?

you probably need to compile the model first...
