How do I make a door that plays a text message when it is triggered. I know the entitys that are used to do it but, be very specific. Im dumb and need some explaining. [kidding] :
Im new and need some help with simple things, sry ;)

In you Func_Door entity

Target line type doortext

Create a new Game_Text entity

Name it doortext

In the message line type your message.

yes, but you have to make a whole file just to play a little text thing across the screen. it takes too long and its easyer to do it the way Dizzy said. ;)

But, with env message you have more controll with the text and less problems with entities etc,

for example, you can't skip lines in game_text entities ;)
but you can with env_message and titile.txt
