I was wondering, is it possible in Half Life 2 to make a multi-brush model in Hammer (for example, a candelabra on a stand) that reacts to the manipulator as one single, physically represented object? I want to make a church-like castle area where you can pick up things like that and chuck them at zombies, but my copy of HL2 hasn't come in the mail yet (GRRRRR...Canada Post, I'm lookin' at you :x ) and I obviously don't have access to the SDK. So, can building them from scratch using brushes and then turning them into one whole physics entity work?
Thanks in advance.

I'd imagine you could just tie 'em all to one physics entity, but then, I ain't had time to map for 'Source yet.

Sure can.

Yah just make your brush based model and select all of it's parts and turn it into a func_physbox entity once you get your copy of HL2/Hammer 4.

An example of that is on HL2DM on a map called 'dm_lego'

They assigned brush based blocks with lego textures on them to physics so you could pick them up with the graivty gun and shoot them at people as well as build walls which is funny when people say dont destroy it and then someone comes in with rocket launcher and boom :D ;)
