i am using sprite wizard, and i am an experianced photoshop/ mapper
but i cannot figure out how to get the backround of my sprite to be clear...
heres what i am trying to accomplish
im making a statue basically
i made the sprite... just cant get the blue back round to go away... btw i made the backround blue.... thinking that would help :zonked:

You must convert the image to 256-colour (palleted), and the last colour will be the transparent one.

i did that... and when i test it in game i can still see the back round... should i set it to alpha or additive?

Uh, solid, amount 255. Read the "Render Modes" tutorial?

if the image of the sprite can be a little translucent, you can set render mode to additive, and fx amount to 255. not sure if the background needs to be black for that though. i DO know that the background will be invisible though.

I think the background does have to be black for that.

i dunno, all i do know is i use the additive, just use whichever works, if neither work then reply
