Firefox is much faster than firefox, it leaves more room for browsing too. You can remove all of the toolbars if you need, giving you nearly a whole screen of browsing space. Opera is bulky and horrible.
Aside from the highlighted mistake, upon which it would be pointless to loiter:

Viewable page areas, with tabs, as minimalist as I could make Firefox and nearly as much as I could Opera (whilst keeping them both usable):

Opera: 0.676Mp
Firef: 0.641Mp

Hah.

I'm all for freeware (heh, like Opera), and Open Source is great. I use Thunderbird. I remain firmly convinced that Opera really is better.

Can't you just rest it at their both very good browsers? Fucking fanaticals.

Opera's far better though. Anyway, if you want to carry this on, post in another thread, not here.

Hey lucky I use IE and to use the shoutbox, you have to set your security settings to "medium". Just make sure that when your done with TWHL, you reset it back to "high" if you had it at that before because some sites have baaaaad stuff. Also make sure cookies are at least medium high.

I don't like opera yet - It makes the text in my site look wrong :(

Its too picky with the code - The shape matters or something ...

Anywho - Another nice browser is here: http://www.avantbrowser.com

Its a good one to get you away from IE initially.

MonkeyChow: Please trust me on this, anything is better than IE. With IE i used to have to run things like Spybot and AdAware everyday. With firefox, I almost never have to do that anymore. IE should be IllEgal! :P

Even with my Virus Scan, Firewalls, and SpySweeper, im only using 2% of my memery/CPU.

It dosnt matter to me anyways. I usually use my interenet provider's browser (SBC Yahoo! Browser.)

Just press F11. Works in any browser.
