I've created a big map, and once i've compiled it i saw that it has about 10 leaks! How the hell can i find them?? Is there any utility to find them? I've heard about something like "leakfinder", so does that exist? :)

Close, it's actually LeakMarker. :) Google it and you'll probably find it. Or, you could load the pointfile the compiler makes into VHE 3.5, and it will show you a bunch of lines that you would need to follow to find the leak. Probably want to use LeakMarker, but I don't think it would work for 10 leaks...

I would just load the point file, it will help you find them (in most cases, 1 at a time :) Just compile the map, bring down the console and type pointfile
easy enough? after it has loaded, look around for little white and black dots pointing at your leak, or its general location...... Most leaks are walls , ceilings, or floors that do not connect completely.....just a hint :D

Hey I know what a leak is! I'm not that stupid... :)

2+2 = 5... ,or was it 3...
Ah well, that don't matter anymore... :P

Tommy14 has some decent stuff on leakfinding. I'll do a tutorial at some point too, probably o'er Easter.

Wrong link on tommy14, seventh... Page not found
Anywho, i loaded the pointfile on my map, i have those black spots on lots of walls, how do i find out which one is the leak-infested one?
Those spots go in zigzags in some open areas with no walls! :)

well the easiest way i found is to just turn on the noclip cheat and fly around following the line. You will eventually see a "black hole" in one of the brush intersections.
might want to turn sv_cheats to 1 also.
