I'm making a new map with some sewers. Just like the ones in your tutorial. Everything ok, but one thing keeps pondering me: How can i make 45 degree turns in my sewers and still keep them real-lookin???
I've tried lots of methods, first i pasted a part of the sewer, rotated it, then took one half of the sewer wall and tried to put it in the gap. THAT looked crappy :( ... Then i tried Rotating the second part and putting it near the next one, so that there would be no gap and then cut the edges, but then i got leaks! :(
Tell me a good method on doing this, I'm desparate!

If you upload your map to the problem section, I'll see what I can do. You tried ajusting the x scale, to compensate for the effects of the angle, right?

There's only the "Hard" way of doing 45 degree turns. Its the VM (Vertex Manipulation) way.

Learn it. And be blessed by its benison. ;)

Rubbish... ;-)
This is where the 'fun' of Carving comes in, along with all the associated errors!!
dandyli0n` has uploaded some good examples.

Some people still haven't learned the real name yet :zonked: ...

It's dandyli0n`, not dandylion or dandyliOn or dandyliOn'.

And sewers are kind of like pipes, except there's a hole inside, and it's square instead of round.
