Clicky

Top pitcure is the error that I get, and the bottom pic is showing whats causing the error. The selected item, is a func_conveyer, as you can see at the bottom of the pic.. now look at the size.

How do I change the Swapile size?

I need an answer fast. My deadline is by 7 O'clock.

You could also try to quit Hammer, Steam, WimAmp, that kind of stuff before compiling to free up some memory...

Ya I know about that, It automatically goes up, although it it ends the rad, and stops the compile, and makes my computer incredibly slow. Then I have to go and reset it, to spped my computer up.

I never tried compiling it while it was up to the max however... So you think it will compile?

Hmm, I have mine at ~1500 startsize and ~3000 maxsize. As long as you have diskspace you can virtually set it as high as you want.

I suggest you set both to the same amount. By the time Windows has swapped 3GB of data I think your PC will be totally unusable; I myself use 2048MiB/2048MiB on a dedicated scratch partition and have 1GiB of actual RAM.

Well it uses 1.2 GB PF usage to compile the map, So I'll just leave it at that and change it back to the default setting once I'm done the map. :)
Thanks for the input though guys, you've been great help.

Why reduce it? It's best to do what I do, avoids fragmentation to considerable degree. Linux does it, and it knows what it's doin'.
