Try a trigger_gravity to change grav.

I think gravity and airspeed stays the same and its how you place the brush with specific entities?

Im not too sure I figured that just from looking at surf maps in CS.

Bah i dont know why it doesnt work but each time i create my own server it does alway that any surf. maybe its there the problem.

how i do a brush? :

1. make surf map (ramp watever)
2. compile and run in your own server
3. CONSOLE (~)
type in:
sv_airaccelerate 100
4. surf!

thats how you do it for cs 1.6 anyway im sure its the same
anyways try it - it cant hurt.

btw a brush is a block of watever. a ramp is a triangular prism which is a brush.

@Bobthereaper: If you don't even know that, then I suggest you to read some basic tutorials first.
Anyway, what I know about surf maps is that it's mostly just about the angle of the faces. Gravity changes don't seem to be necessary, a push at the start is helpfull but that's it.

Oh, and next time, explain your problem better - it's really hard to figure out what exactly you want. I still don't know what exactly your problem is...

FresheD was just telling you that the only way to learn proper mapping is by doing it step-by-step, not starting off by making bigger project (the surf map, in your case) and insulting him, just because he tried to help is REALLY dumb.

You can find all of the answers in 'In the Beginning' tutorials that are easy to find in the tutorials section and are really easy to understand, no matter if you're not english.

@FresheD: Such tones often don't make sense to people, and they aren't really athmosphere-improving either.

What I see in your post was an attitude of: I learned it right, now look at you, you don't even try! That's probably not what you intended, but that's what I read in it.
Just take care and try to think how others would view your post. That's difficult, I don't say I'm particularly good at it (perhaps I offend someone in this post too :P) but it's worth it. And otherwise, don't post. I don't think there's a need to tell everybody with a different attitude they're not going to make it. They'll either change, or just don't make it (or make it with a different attitude somehow, I dunno).

Oh well, let's end this ranting... I don't feel like I've got much to say here, anyway...

You could try the player_weaponstrip entity for that, though I'm not so into CS mapping, the methods might differ a bit there.

@freshd: i was part of a forum once where i also (in my opinion) gave helpful criteria to other peoples topics. They sadly looked at it as more shredding up the idea and showing them how stupid it is. I spose both is true. I'm not part of that forum anymore (it was for runescape, another game) not because i left cause people were upset at me or called me names or even wrote in their sigs how much they hated me, but because i was kicked (thrice) by the admin :(. get familiar with the vertex manipulation tool which changes blocks to triangles by joining the vertices

well like the other guy said just change sv_airaccelerate to 100 in console in the server
